Be-Live: turning corporate training into something employees actually open every day.

The problem

Mahindra's training programmes lived in classrooms and the occasional intranet PDF. Engagement was tied to whoever showed up that day, and tracking outcomes meant chasing Excel sheets from regional HR partners. Leadership wanted training that fit the way employees actually worked — between meetings, on the shop floor, on the way home — and they wanted the data to prove it was working.

What we built

We shipped Be-Live as a native iOS and Android app on top of the Brainmint platform. The hard part wasn't the LMS — it was the social layer. Every course got its own discussion thread, peer reviews, and an opt-in leaderboard scoped to the learner's team. Microlearning modules were limited to 90 seconds so they fit into a coffee break.

On the backend we built a content publishing console where the L&D team could roll out a new module in under an hour, with role-based targeting and offline support baked in by default.

How it landed

Within three months daily-active learners crossed 5× the legacy baseline. The biggest unlock wasn't gamification — it was offline mode. Employees in field roles who never had reliable wifi were finally reachable. Course completion rate moved from a polite "we mostly finish" to an honest 62% lift inside six months.

The second-order effect was sharper: regional HR partners stopped chasing Excel and started filing roadmap requests. Once they could see what people were finishing in real time, they wanted to ship faster.

Be-Live changed what 'training' meant inside Mahindra. It went from an HR programme to something people just used.
